Robin and John moved to the 103 year-old Madisonian Building in Winterset, Iowa in 2007. It had been the newspaper office in town before they moved. Inside and out the building has been renovated. The Madhaus Fine Art Gallery was the newsroom for the Winterset Madisonian, seen here in January of 2007.

By the summer of 2007 the renovation was underway.

From 2008 thru April of 2009 the Fine Art Gallery was open, but not presenting the art in its best light. So....

The ceiling and entire front

glass and metal facings were

torn out in mid-April of

2010.

ALMOST DONE! New windows, door, ceiling, track lighting and flooring were installed. The Madhaus Fine Art Gallery will be open to the public, new and improved, starting Friday, May 28, 2010.
